Cybersecurity veteran Sharad Sadadekar, Ex- SVP & Group CISO at HDFC Life, has joined ICICI Prudential Life Insurance where he will oversee all facets of the insurer’ cybersecurity posture.
A seasoned professional with proven leadership abilities in business technology, Sharad had worked for close to 21 years at HDFC Life, where he was most recently SVP & Group CISO. Before HDFC Life, Sharad held various leadership roles at CMS Computers Ltd, Blue Bell Computers LLC ( Dubai) and Tangerine Informatique Ltd.
Sharad has over 2.5 decades of rich experience in Technology and BFSI industry across various stages of IT value chain comprising of Information Security, Cybersecurity, Cloud Management, Infrastructure & Datacenter Management, Backup & Storage management, Enterprise Service Management, IT Governance, Business Continuity Planning, Project Management, Robotics and new-tech initiatives.
Sharad has an extensive management and domain experience in driving the Information and Cyber Security programs in key aspects of Cyber security Maturity and Benchmarking, Policy, Standards, Frameworks, Procedures, Guidelines, Awareness in the new age, Next Gen SOC, Threat Visibility and Hunting, Identity & Access Management, IT Governance, Network Security, Brand Reputation Management, Incident Response, Crisis Planning and Response, Malware protection, Software and Regulatory Compliance, On-line and E-commerce security, Data Flow Analysis and Protection, Third Party Risk Management, Cloud Security, Business Continuity Planning and Cyber Insurance.
