Shashank Bajpai has joined working capital tech platform CredAble as the Chief Information and Security Officer. He joins a fintech startup from ECGC Ltd where he served as CISO. ECGC Ltd is a government owned export credit provider under Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
Bajpai is a subject matter expert in cyber security technology & information security compliance for financial services in India.
He possesses immense domain expertise in Cyber Security, InfoSec Strategy & Technology Risk. With more than a decade long exposure of working in Information Security domain, Bajpai had started professional career as a security developer with the E-Security team at CDAC Hyderabad.
Prior to ECGC Ltd, Bajpai he had headed cyber security as CISO at ACKO General Insurance Ltd.
He had been associated with EY Cyber Security Advisory to provide strategic InfoSec consulting to various enterprises in the Financial Sector of India, Middle East and South East Asia. Bajpai also contributed in designing the cyber secure telecom architecture of the Reliance Jio as Manager for Security Strategy and Cloud Security which had led the 4G Telecom revolution in India.
Bajpai has published international research papers on Cloud Security & Neural Networks. He is always focused on harnessing the new-age technologies like Machine Learning, IoT and Blockchain to not only secure but also complement the business strategy of an enterprise.
