Kotak Securities has appointed technology and cybersecurity expert Girish Dixit as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) – Executive Vice President. Dixit joins Kotak Securities with decades of vast experience executing and leading operations in the field of cybersecurity and information security.
Prior to joining the stock broking company, Dixit was the Head of Cyber Defense at HDFC Bank. In this assignment he was responsible for driving the bank’s cybersecurity initiatives.
Before his stint with HDFC Bank, Dixit was Executive Director – CISO India Branch at JPMorgan Chase & Co where he had successfully formulated and executed cybersecurity strategies.
He has worked in a diverse range of industries including IT & ITES, banking, and manufacturing and was earlier associated with Citibank India, Nomura India, Amdocs, Cable & Wireless, P&O NedLloyd IT Services, Datacraft India, HCL Comnet and CMS Computers.
