Cyber security company Check Point Software Technologies announced the appointment of Sundar N Balasubramanian as managing director for India and SAARC region, effective immediately.
He will report to Sharat Sinha, Vice President (VP) / General Manager (GM), Asia-Pacific & Japan.
Balasubramanian brings with him over 25 years of experience in IT, coming from VMware India where he was the channel chief.
As Managing Director for India and SAARC, Balasubramanian will be responsible for for the business growth of Check Point in the region.
Balasubramanian succeeds Bhaskar Bakthavatsalu who has been elevated to a global role at the cybersecurity company.
