Tally Solutions Moves TallyPrime Cloud Access to Oracle Cloud

Tally Solutions has migrated TallyPrime Cloud Access to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), strengthening the platform’s scalability, availability, and security while reducing IT infrastructure costs by 30 percent.

The move supports Tally Solutions’ mission to deliver reliable, anytime-anywhere access to business-critical data for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). With a growing customer base and increasing demand for high availability, the company required a cloud platform capable of supporting scale without compromising performance or cost efficiency.

By running TallyPrime Cloud Access on OCI, Tally Solutions has enhanced operational efficiency and automation while ensuring consistent performance for millions of users. The platform leverages OCI Compute and OCI Kubernetes Engine to improve scalability, along with OCI Object Storage for high-performance data management and service reliability.

“At Tally Solutions, our focus has always been on making business management simpler and more reliable for small and medium enterprises as they grow,” said Tejas Goenka, Managing Director, Tally Solutions. “As usage scales and expectations around availability and performance increase, having a stable and efficient cloud foundation becomes critical. OCI has helped us improve operational efficiency, optimize IT infrastructure costs, and support the scale at which TallyPrime is used every day. Looking ahead, we see opportunities to use cloud and AI capabilities more thoughtfully, to run systems more efficiently and deliver faster, more meaningful insights for the millions of businesses that rely on Tally Solutions.”

Founded in 1986, Tally Solutions serves close to three million customers globally with its flagship business management software, TallyPrime, which supports accounting, inventory, banking, and compliance needs for SMBs.

According to the company, the OCI migration also lays the foundation for future innovation, including the thoughtful use of cloud and AI capabilities to deliver faster insights and more efficient operations.

“As India’s small and medium-sized businesses continue to expand, they need a reliable and scalable platform that can support them at every stage,” said Kapil Makhija, vice president, Technology Cloud, Oracle India. “By running TallyPrime Cloud Access on OCI, Tally Solutions has modernized one of India’s most widely used BMS platforms to deliver the reliability and consistency its users depend on. With OCI, Tally Solutions is well-positioned to keep innovating and help millions of entrepreneurs run their business with confidence to turn their ambitions into reality.”

Oracle highlighted that modernizing TallyPrime Cloud Access on OCI positions Tally Solutions to continue supporting India’s rapidly expanding SME ecosystem with a reliable and scalable digital backbone.
