Cloud Range Wins 2023 Fortress Cyber Security Award

Recognized for immersive, live-fire cyber range simulation training solution for SOC and IR teams

Cloud Range, the industry’s leading cyber range solution to reduce cyber risk across the organization, announced that it is the winner of the 2023 Fortress Cyber Security Awards in the training category. The industry awards program sought to identify and reward the world’s leading companies and products that are working to keep our data and electronic assets safe among a growing threat from hackers.

Cloud Range was recognized for its unique simulation training solution that prepares cybersecurity practitioners to defend against today’s complex threat landscape. Similar to a flight simulator, but for cyber attacks, Cloud Range’s immersive, live-fire, virtual cyber range solution mimics both IT and OT infrastructure with customizable networks, tools, and environments. Security operations center (SOC) and incident response (IR) teams can practice defending against real-world attacks that mimic actual adversary methods to gain necessary technical expertise, judgment, soft skills, and muscle memory, so they can act quickly and effectively during an incident.

“We are honored to win the Fortress Cyber Security Award for cybersecurity training,” said Debbie Gordon, CEO and founder of Cloud Range. “With the rapidly increasing frequency and sophistication of cyber threats, it is vital for organizations to have a prepared, experienced workforce that can effectively detect and remediate cyberattacks. Cloud Range stands out with a one-of-a-kind platform that empowers cyber defenders and incident responders in every industry to increase cyber preparedness and reduce risk.”

“We are so proud to name Cloud Range as a winner in the 2023 Fortress Cyber Security Awards program,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer, Business Intelligence Group. “As our society continues to evolve and become more reliant on networks and data, companies like Cloud Range are critical at providing the protection and trust consumers demand.”
