Samsung Claims No Personal Data Breach Occurred due to Recent Cyberattack

Samsung Electronics disclosed on Monday that a recent cyberattack on its system by a hacking group did not have a significant impact on its business or customers.

Samsung claimed that no personal information of its customers or employees was stolen, and the incident will have no affect on the business operations, according to a statement posted on the company’s internal forum.

Without elaborating further, Samsung said, “There has been no personal data breach, although leaked information includes some source codes necessary to run the Galaxy phones,”
