AIIMS Delhi Hosts Workshop on ‘Emerging Technologies for Healthcare’

AIIMS New Delhi has taken a pioneering step in integrating cutting-edge technologies into healthcare by hosting an intensive workshop on emerging technologies, specifically focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI). With AI projected to revolutionise the healthcare sector in India, the workshop aimed to equip medicos with the necessary skills and knowledge to leverage AI’s transformative power.

AIIMS Delhi, recognised as a centre of excellence in AI, is at the forefront of this technological evolution, addressing public health challenges and promoting the integration of AI in healthcare practices.

Prof. Kanwal Preet Kochhar of AIIMS New Delhi, expressed her enthusiasm about the initiative, stating, “We are thrilled to have organised this workshop that brings together leading minds in the field of AI and healthcare. Our goal is to empower our medicos with the skills and knowledge they need to harness AI technologies effectively. By focusing on practical applications and real-world challenges, we are preparing our future healthcare leaders to innovate and improve patient outcomes significantly.”

Dr. Swadeep Srivastav, Founder & CBO of Healthpresso, highlighted the transformative potential of AI in healthcare, saying, “AI represents a paradigm shift in how we approach healthcare delivery.
