Capgemini announced the appointment of Philippe Christelle as Chief Ethics& Compliance Officer (CECO) of the Capgemini Group, an addition to hisrole as Capgemini’s Chief Audit Officer (CAO). He replaces HervéCanneva who recently retired. Philippe will drive the implementation, development and promotion of Capgemini’s Ethics & Compliance program.

Philippe Christelle has been the Chief Audit Officer of Capgemini Group since 1999. A former partner at PwC, Philippe was a member of the National Activity Review Committee (Comitéd’Examen National d’Activitéor CENA) and the Committee for Ethics of CNCC (CompagnieNationale des Commissaires aux Comptes: the French national auditing body). Philippe chaired the InstitutFrançais de l’Auditet du Contrôle Internes (IFACI),the French chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), between 2003 and 2006, and the European Confederation of Internal Auditors (ECIIA) between 2003 and 2004. Since 2009, Philippe has been a member of the board of the Haut Conseil du Commissariat aux Comptes(H3C), the French public authority charged with supervising the audit profession,successively chairing the Committee on Quality Controls and the Committee on International Affairs.
Philippe is a chartered accountant, and a graduate of Sciences-Po Paris and IAE Paris. He also holds a Masters degree in Philosophy from the Sorbonne. Since 1990 he has been a lecturer at Sciences-Po Paris, l’EcoleNormaleSupérieure and at l’Université Paris Dauphine.
