IDBI Bank Appoints Binit Jha as Chief Data Officer

IDBI Bank has appointed Binit Jha as its Chief Data Officer.

In this new role, he will be responsible for all data and transformation-related activities which include creating strategies and implementing cloud migration, data analytics, AI & ML, MIS reporting automation, Enterprise Data Warehouse, data governance, IT Risk Management, Audit, Vigilance, Legal & CRM technology.

Jha will work with executive committee members and report to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the IDBI Bank. He is based out of IDBI corporate headquarters at Cuff Parade in Mumbai.

Prior to his new role, Jha has served with Morgan Stanley as ED – Parametric, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership in Data Engineering, Data Transformation, Analytics, and Digital transformation.

With an IT experience over 22 years, he has worked extensively in the fields of data engineering, data science, cloud migration, digital transformation, and automation. Binit has expertise in creating strategies for GCC’s like Morgan Stanley, UBS, Bank of America & Lehman Brothers.
