Trend Micro Elevates Sharda Tickoo To Country Manager For India & SAARC

Trend Micro has announced the appointment of Sharda Tickoo as the new Country Manager for India & SAARC, marking a significant leadership transition within the company. Sharda Tickoo, who has been a part of Trend Micro for over 16 years, has previously contributed her expertise as the Director of Sales for large enterprises and the Technical Leader for India and SAARC, among other pivotal roles.

In her elevated role, Tickoo is set to spearhead Trend Micro’s initiatives to anchor product expertise as the cornerstone of customer engagement. This strategic move aligns with the company’s ongoing endeavours to solidify its stance as a frontrunner in the cybersecurity domain amidst the region’s dynamic threat landscape.

Reporting directly to Dhanya Thakkar, the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & US-AMEA Sales at Trend Micro, Tickoo will oversee key business areas, including the enterprise segment and government and defence verticals, and leading marketing, channel, and technical teams. This collaboration aims to foster innovation, enhance customer relations, and drive market growth at the national level.

Dhanya Thakkar congratulated Sharda on her promotion, expressing optimism about her new journey.
