1. What’s the IT roadmap of Sai Life Sciences? Within your organisation, what is the most significant digital achievement of the past 12 months?

RPA, AI, ML, Analytics, Digitization, SOC monitoring, VAPT etc

2. What are your key priorities for 2020?

Paperless initiatives, SDMS, New Sites readiness, IOT, Security etc

3. How has the CIO role changed over the time? When it comes to security, how significant is the role of a CIO?

CIO role changed drastically especially in pharmaceutical industry ensuring CSV, Security, Digitization along with new Sites readiness and IT Operations. When it comes to security, CIO has to think in 360 degrees of data and implement controls, security products and avail services that will ensure data security.

4. With your experience of steering technology, can you please share some of the unique lessons learned?

Agile and faster execution is the key to success. Evaluate newer technologies and products and enhance the business value else organizations will be out of business.

5. Since insiders have more access to information, what kind of processes do you have in place to prevent unauthorized use of information? How is Sai Life Sciences’ cyber security strategy going forward?

Soc monitoring, VAPT, DLP, IRM, tighter controls on GxP and Non-GxP softwares and systems will prevent unauthorised use of information.
