Deepak Patkar joins Fullerton India as Chief Risk Officer

Fullerton India Credit Company Limited (Fullerton India) has appointed Deepak Patkar as its Chief Risk Officer, where he will head the Risk, Collections, Information Security, Legal, and Analytics function.

Deepak rejoins the Fullerton India family after a span of three years. Before rejoining the Fullerton India family, Deepak was at Magma Fincorp Limited as EVP and Chief Risk Officer. He went on to lead their Asset Financing Business as Chief Executive Officer.

Deepak has over 25 years of experience across various disciplines such as business and risk management, audit, sales, and quality assurance across multiple industries. He has worked with leading companies such as Citibank, HCL Infosystems, and Cable Corporation of India.

Speaking on the appointment of Patkar, Shantanu Mitra, CEO & MD, Fullerton India, said, “We would like to welcome Deepak back. Having worked with him in the past, we are confident that he will help us manage our risk functions and the other critical departments efficiently. During his previous stint at Fullerton India, Deepak was responsible for driving a strong culture of business enablement with risk measures backed by analytics, which had a profound and positive effect on the company.”
