Motherson elevates Mohit Gupta to its new Group CISO

Mohit Gupta has been appointed as the Group Chief Information Security Officer of Motherson.

Motherson is a global conglomerate of companies spread across 42 countries with over 270 plants operating through listed and non-listed companies.

Founded in 1975, Motherson is one of the world’s leading auto component makers, supplying to all car manufacturers across the world through its facilities spread across five continents with over 135,000 employees. Driven by technology and innovation, Motherson has reiterated its vision 2025 with an ambitious target of $36 Billion consolidated revenue in FY20-25.

In his new role as Group Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Mohit Gupta will strengthen the security governance structure at Motherson Group. He will directly report to Group CIO in Motherson Corporate.

Mohit’s new charter is to improve overall security posture of Motherson group companies. Prior to this new role, Mohit was CISO of Motherson Sumi INfotech and Designs Limited, an IT division of Motherson Group.
