Newgen Recognized in The Low-Code Development Platforms For Professional Developers Landscape Report, Q1 2023

Newgen Software has announced that it has been featured in Forrester’s The Low-Code Development Platforms For Professional Developers Landscape, Q1 2023 report, published Feb7, 2023, authored by John Bratincevic and Jessica D’Oliveira.

According to the report, Newgen is classified in the large market size segment (which contains vendors with more than $100 million in product revenue). With an industry focus on the financial services, government, and insurance verticals, Newgen is listed among general-purpose platforms that can be used to build any domain application.

The report recognized 28 distinct low-code development platform vendors and identified five core use cases: departmental IT/citizen developer empowerment, customer-facing applications, digital process automation, core business applications, and data modeling and record-keeping. Additionally, the report highlighted four extended use cases of app store mobile apps, business intelligence/reporting, integration layer, and industrial IoT apps. Newgen is shown in the report for having selected business intelligence/reporting as the top reason clients work with them out of those extended use cases.

“We believe this mention in the Forrester report further validates our commitment to accelerate development through low code, spark digital innovation by facilitating collaboration between business and professional developers, and expand the developer pool beyond central IT. For us, the report is in line with Newgen’s commitment to rapidly develop and deploy complex, content-driven applications and affirms that low code technology is being used increasingly for large and critical use cases,” said Virender Jeet, CEO, Newgen Software.
