Tracey Newell, now member of Druva board of directors

She brings over 20 years of enterprise software and SaaS sales and marketing leadership experience to support Druva.

Druva Inc. announced that Tracey Newell has been appointed to the board of directors of the business. Industry veteran brings over 20 years of enterprise software and SaaS sales and marketing leadership experience. Newell will support Druva as it prioritises developing routes to market and conquering the fast growing data protection industry.

Newell was formerly the president of Informatica and a member of the company’s board of directors for two years before being asked to join the management team. She was the Executive Vice President of global field operations at Proofpoint before joining Informatica, where she oversaw sales during a five-year period of hypergrowth. Newell led Proofpoint’s go-to-market team to become a top five leader in the cybersecurity sector, earning him a spot on The Modern Sale’s Top 100 Sales Leaders list. Newell has also held sales leadership positions at Juniper Networks, Webex, and Cisco Systems, as well as executive vice president of global sales at Polycom.
