Cummins India has appointed Annapurna Vishwanathan as CIO. She brings 15 years of industry experience in business technology leadership to the role.
Annapurna joins from Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages where she was the Head of Digital. Prior to that, she had worked with companies like GE.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Annapurna is a product of GE leadership programs like ITLP and CAS and has varied experience working across the globe on key GE priorities like IT security, establishing cash controls, acquisition integrations, implementing oracle sourcing platforms etc.
Annapurna earned her MBA in Marketing from IIT-Delhi and completed BE in Electronics from VESIT. She holds a Six Sigma certification from GE.
