BitRaser has announced new Microsoft Autopilot and Apple Mobile Device Management (MDM) detection capabilities, helping enterprises and service providers securely and compliantly decommission devices before data erasure. The update addresses a growing challenge for IT teams as device refresh cycles accelerate and workforces become increasingly remote.
With laptops and Macs often remaining enrolled in Autopilot or MDM platforms even after being wiped, organizations risk tenant-locked devices, failed redeployments, and reduced resale value. BitRaser’s new detection features provide pre-erasure visibility, enabling teams to identify whether devices are still managed before they leave the organization’s control.
Integrated directly into BitRaser’s data erasure software—and also available as a standalone application—the solution helps IT teams reduce downstream rework, avoid post-wipe configuration issues, and strengthen compliance with information security standards.
