Agora Expands Conversational AI Ecosystem with Murf AI Integration for Real-Time Voice Agents

New integration enhances natural, low-latency voice capabilities for production-ready conversational AI applications

by CIO AXIS

Agora Inc has announced the integration of Murf AI into its Conversational AI Engine, further strengthening its ecosystem for building real-time, scalable voice-driven applications.

The integration brings Murf AI’s advanced text-to-speech (TTS) capabilities into Agora’s platform, enabling developers and enterprises to create more natural, responsive, and production-ready voice agents with ultra-low latency.

Advancing Real-Time Conversational AI
As adoption of conversational AI accelerates across customer service, virtual assistants, and voice-first applications, enterprises are increasingly prioritizing real-time responsiveness and natural voice interactions. However, many existing architectures struggle with latency, orchestration complexity, and scalability—hindering the transition from prototype to production.

Agora’s Conversational AI Engine addresses these challenges by offering a unified orchestration layer that integrates Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Large Language Models (LLMs), and TTS providers on top of its globally distributed real-time network infrastructure. This enables seamless integration of best-in-class AI models while maintaining sub-second latency.

Enhancing the Voice Layer with Murf AI
With the addition of Murf AI, developers gain access to expressive, multilingual, and production-grade voice generation tailored for latency-sensitive use cases. The integration supports rapid time-to-first-audio, broad language coverage, and global data residency—making it suitable for enterprise applications such as contact center automation, real-time virtual assistants, and large-scale conversational AI deployments.

Unlike traditional speech systems, Agora’s platform enables dynamic voice streaming that can be interrupted, resumed, and adapted in real time, allowing AI agents to deliver more natural, human-like conversations.

Driving an Open AI Ecosystem
The integration underscores Agora’s open ecosystem approach, allowing enterprises to choose preferred providers across speech recognition, language intelligence, and voice generation without vendor lock-in. By incorporating Murf AI, Agora continues to expand platform flexibility while ensuring reliable, high-quality voice delivery at global scale.

“Real-time conversational AI requires more than intelligent models – it requires infrastructure that can deliver voice instantly, reliably, and at global scale,” said Tony Wang, Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer at Agora. “By integrating Murf AI into the Conversational AI Engine, we are expanding our ecosystem and giving developers more control over how voice agents sound while ensuring they can be deployed in production environments without compromising latency or quality.”

Ankur Edkie, Co-Founder and CEO of Murf AI, added, “Voice plays a critical role in making AI interactions feel natural and engaging. Partnering with Agora allows our text-to-speech technology to operate in real-time conversational systems, helping enterprises create voice agents that are more human-like, customizable, and ready for global scale.”

Enabling Voice-First Innovation
Together, Agora and Murf AI enable organizations to build next-generation conversational AI solutions that combine real-time communication, advanced language models, and high-quality voice synthesis in a single platform. Key use cases include customer support automation, sales engagement, virtual assistants, training systems, and multilingual interactions across digital channels.

By expanding its conversational AI ecosystem, Agora aims to simplify the journey from development to deployment, helping enterprises deliver consistent, responsive, and natural voice experiences across global environments.
