Airtel Payments Bank, a subsidiary of Bharti Airtel, has appointed Manish Pandey as the Chief Information and Security Officer (CISO). Pandey will report to Pradeep Rangi, Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of the bank. He brings 12 years of Information Security domain experience to his new role.
In this role, Pandey will be responsible for introducing, implementing and maintaining safe information security practices to strengthen the security framework for the bank. He will also lead the regulatory engagement, governance and audit matters pertaining to information security at the bank.

He has over 12 years of experience across different sectors with expertise in IT & Cybersecurity , Cyber law and data protection. Before joining the bank, he was working with Paytm Payments Bank.
Pandey is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Payment Card Industry Security Implementer (CPISI). He has completed his Master’s in Information Security and Cyber Law from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, UP.
