Arbor Brings CloudSM DDoS Protection Solution For Service Providers

by CIO AXIS

Arbor Networks announced the availability of its Arbor CloudSM DDoS Protection solution for service providers. With Arbor Cloud, service providers can leverage Arbor’s industry leading mitigation capacity to bring a new DDoS protection service to market in less time, at less cost, and with less risk. They can also broaden the scope of existing services by adding greater DDoS attack mitigation capacity or support for multi-homed clients seeking end-to-end DDoS protection from a single service provider. Service providers can now deploy Arbor equipment to surgically mitigate the majority of DDoS attacks on their own network, while counting on Arbor Cloud’s over 1Tbps of intelligent mitigation capacity to handle truly large attacks.

Arbor Cloud enables service providers to meet market demand by launching, extending and enhancing cloud-based DDoS managed services. Arbor’s technology, products, and ATLAS research infrastructure power these services, supported by a 24×7 Security Operations Center (SOC) staffed by Arbor DDoS and security experts. Arbor’s SOC analysts leverage their deep domain expertise in tracking DDoS attacks, botnets, and ongoing attack campaigns to arm service providers with threat intelligence to help them combat threats facing their network and their customers’ network.

“Arbor is a trusted partner to the world’s leading service providers. For more than a decade, we have been deployed in their networks, working with them to secure and grow and their network and services. Arbor Cloud is a carrier agnostic DDoS mitigation infrastructure that can provide critical support for any of our customers offering a DDoS managed service today,” said Arbor Networks President Matthew Moynahan.
