Kushal Kumar Varshney has been appointed as Assistant Vice President Information Technology at Juniper Green Energy, marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team as it continues its growth in the renewable energy sector.
Kushal brings more than 17 years of robust experience in IT and digital transformation, with a track record of pioneering business transformation initiatives and leading complex technology projects across multiple industries including renewable energy, retail, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, shipping, oil and gas, and consulting.
Prior to joining Juniper Green Energy, he has held senior IT roles in various organizations such as ACME Group (Assistant Vice President and Head IT – CIO), Shyam Steel Industries Limited (CIO) CleanMax Solar (Chief Information Officer), Deloitte (Deputy Manager), IBM (Senior Consultant), and IndiGrid (Chief Technology Officer). His expertise encompasses the design and execution of IT strategy, technology roadmaps, digital transformation, advanced analytics, cyber security, and IT governance frameworks.
As Assistant Vice President Information Technology, Varshney is responsible for driving the company’s entire IT function. His remit spans strategic planning, digital innovation, IT operations, business transformation, and data privacy measures crucial to advancing Juniper Green Energy’s clean energy mission.
Kushal is recognized for leading more than 50 IT transformation engagements, including ERP implementations, Industry 4.0 digital innovations, and integration of technologies like Artificial Intelligence, IoT, and Robotic Process Automation. His leadership has been instrumental in building resilient IT infrastructures that support M&A deals and business integrations, establishing Juniper Green Energy’s reputation as a tech-forward and future-ready energy provider.
