Snowflake, the AI Data Cloud company, and SAP SE, have announced a strategic collaboration to help organizations seamlessly leverage data across both ecosystems.
The partnership introduces the SAP Snowflake solution extension for SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) — enabling enterprises to connect, analyze, and activate mission-critical business data through a unified, AI-ready platform. By combining SAP’s deep business data expertise with Snowflake’s advanced AI and ML capabilities, the collaboration aims to deliver richer insights, accelerate intelligent application development, and drive enterprise transformation.
Creating an Open, Intelligent Data Ecosystem
SAP BDC customers will gain access to Snowflake’s AI Data Cloud as a solution extension, supporting zero-copy data sharing between platforms. This allows data teams to analyze and build AI applications without duplicating data — maintaining a single, governed source of truth.

The partnership also introduces SAP BDC Connect for Snowflake, enabling bidirectional, zero-copy data sharing for existing Snowflake users. This provides real-time access to SAP data without duplication, improving efficiency and lowering total cost of ownership.
