Sberbank India announced the appointment of Sanjay Singh as the new Head of its IT Division, marking a significant step in strengthening the bank’s technology leadership and innovation capabilities.
He brings over 19 years of experience across enterprise IT operations management, infrastructure management, service delivery, project and program management, and regulatory compliance. Throughout his career, he has successfully led large-scale IT transformation programs, delivered complex greenfield projects, and managed global infrastructure operations for leading organizations.
Prior to joining Sberbank India, Singh served as Head of IT Infrastructure and Operations at GEDU Global Education and as Global Head of Infrastructure & Information Security at UFLEX Group. He has also held leadership roles at AVI-OIL India, Alcatel-Lucent, and Reliance Energy Limited.
Singh’s career highlights include:
– Delivering IT infrastructure for three manufacturing plants for UFLEX in 2022–23
– Leading ERP implementations at AVI-OIL and Flexfood Ltd.
– Establishing IT & EMS policies, business continuity procedures, and securing ISO 27001 certification for AVI-OIL
– Driving enterprise IT strategy, global operations, vendor relations, and IT-enabled business transformation
With deep expertise in data center management, cloud applications, DevOps, compliance, governance, and strategic IT planning, Singh has a proven track record of enabling businesses to achieve operational excellence and accelerated digital transformation.
