TIBCO Software Inc., has received a 2015 Dresner Advisory Services Technology Innovation Award as a leader in Location Intelligence.
The Dresner Advisory Services Technology Innovation Awards identify leaders drawn from several 2015 Wisdom of Crowds thematic market studies. The awards are based on end-user data collected on usage and deployment trends, products, and vendors, and provide a real-world view into the business intelligence (BI) and analytics industries.
The flagship Technology Innovation Award program highlights top vendors in eight categories. The Location Intelligence award is described as a specific form of BI in which location and geography are the primary dimensions used. The analysis is, in turn, conducted predominantly by viewing data points overlaid onto an interactive map.
